Doctoral Program in Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems Engineering

“I chose this master’s degree due to the reputation and credibility of ISEP, as well as the conviction of the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in all sectors of society. The master’s degree exceeded my expectations, both for the curricular content as well as for the pedagogical methodology, which allowed the development of multidisciplinary projects with autonomy, while encouraging teamwork.”
Abel Ferreira -
“The Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering at ISEP played a decisive role in my career. It is a master’s degree with an excellent balance between theory and practice, teamwork, ethics, and innovation. At the time of the thesis, I was able to apply the knowledge acquired in the product in which I worked — Process Mining — which later led me to take over, by CTW, the leadership of a new BMW product, focused on optimizing business processes with AI.”
Eduardo Silva -
“I attended the master’s while working as a researcher at GECAD, and I was always able to reconcile the professional rhythm with the academic thanks to the unique structure of the course. The quarter-based model, with two curricular units at a time, allowed me to deepen each theme in a more focused, organized, and flexible way. The master has given me solid bases that I apply daily at ADECI, the start-up of which I am the founder, and which is transforming the restoration sector through intelligent predictions.”
Hélder Pereira -
“Studying at MEIA was an unparalleled experience, as I had contact with the main subjects of Artificial Intelligence (IA) guided by teachers with notorious experience and expertise in projects in the area. Still in this context, my final coursework, an intelligent solution aimed at supporting Financial Audits for the Government of Brazil, yielded many fruits, and was also presented at two international conferences, also generating publications in book chapters. Today, with the completed course, my diploma was recognized in Brazil by the Federal University of Goiás, allowing me to work professionally in various ways in Brazil.”
